"WATCH and PRAY"

We are to be sober and watching for when our LORD JESUS

comes again! 

In Scripture we anticipate the return of Jesus, our Messiah at the end of

the age.   It is prophesied many places in the Holy Bible of His first coming

as the babe in the Bethlehem manger...so...that came true, why wouldn't the

prophecy of His second coming, returning to this earth come true as well?

Before His 2nd Coming their will be perilous times, nation will rise against

nation, and kingdom against kingdom, wars and rumors of war, etc., as

it is stated in Matthew 24 in the New Testament.

Also in Luke , Mark , and Old Testament books; Daniel 2,9,11,

Ezekiel 38, 39, Jerimiah 50:41-46

and many other locations; including the most widely recognized;

 the book of Revelation, " the testimony of Jesus Christ to

the "Church".

I've listed several scriptures for you to look into in your

own study... a pastor can guide you and answer ?s...

but I really think us as individuals, need to study prayfully,

continually learning what the Bible has for us when

we read the Word!

AWAKE OUT OF YOUR SLEEP!!!

We are entering the most troubled time in

the history of the world!

It seems that the world as we know it is soon to change forever.  We are headed headlong into the Greatest Tribulation the world has ever seen or ever will see again; and that's from the Scriptures.  Are you ready for WWIII, and the total takeover of the United States by Russia and China?  Ya know folks, they're already here in the States.  There is all kinds of proof on the Internet, go and look for yourselves.  The US is the last Bastian to be brought down so that the NWO can be put in place...more than likely run by Obama, Clinton, or Tony Blair; and I believe the latest Pope, Francis, might be the false prophet!!!  At any rate, whoever is running the show, be sure that the Beast System is coming for Jews and Christians.

What do we reap when we sow against GOD?

Our Country; the beloved USA, once upon a time was the world's Superpower.  What has happened to our land in the last 20 - 30 years to bring us to where we are today... just stop and think of how we have omitted GOD in our schools and universities, our military, our high--school graduations...just to name a few!  What about our Government... and the Media, both of which show little if any regard for Jesus or GOD Almighty.  Our Country is forsaking GOD, his "only begotten Son" and lest we forsake the Holy Spirit...

We, as a Nation, we as "the Church", and we as individuals are coming under the Judgement of the Almighty... foretold in the Scriptures as Prophecy for the End Times... which we have entered into.  So what do we do?  GOD is not mocked! And at the same time, "GOD is longsuffering that none would perish but all come to 'repentance'."  As a Nation, we have gone too far; we have been warned countless times and have not listened, only to get even more hostile and rebellious against GOD Almighty

We live in "perilous times" ever hasting the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, those who are his own, redeemed out of the clutches of sin, born again to new life.  This is our Hope in these dark days... hope in the risen Savior who sits at the Father's right hand!  We wait for the consummation of all things and the glorious return of JESUS, the Christ, the Son of the Living GOD, as He promised 2000+ years ago when He ascended into Heaven, the clouds receiving Him our of their sight.  The disciples were comforted in the promise that He would come back in like manner as they saw Him go..... Titus 2:13 , "Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great GOD and Savior, Jesus Christ".

THIS IS OUR HOPE!



THIS IS THE DAY...

"THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HATH MADE

LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT"

     As I ponder on the above quote from Scripture, we are told by example from the author of the text; this new day is a gift from GOD and we  should want to rejoice and be glad  to be here for a new day.  We are also warned  in the Holy Bible that our days are numbered;  we have a obvious end to our time here in this life, we will die. 

     We don't know what will happen, we can't tell or pre-view our futures.  EXCEPT!!!  For the Christian, Scripture gives us prophecy (foretelling of future events).  Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, Luke, John, Mark, Matthew... and many of the books of the Holy Bible gives clues and statements of future events; some of which have come true and some are yet to be revealed...

  

     To bring this into focus, considering the opening quote; we can rejoice and be glad in the current day even though it may be filled with all different happenings experienced by those around the world.

It could be that we're in a war, being robbed or mugged, getting married, burying a loved one, facing surgery, on a peaceful walk in the woods, or just about to die!  The reason we can rejoice and be

glad is the LORD JESUS CHRIST has our day in his hands, GOD is still in control, no matter

what circumstances we find ourselves in...even the moments before we pass from this life.

EVEN OUR LAST  DAY WE CAN BE THANKFUL AND REJOICE AND BE GLAD

IN JESUS IS OUR DAYS, OUR LIVES, OUR HOPES... Peace to all who read...

A New Chapter

"A long ago dream now realized!"

At my mid-life age of 52+ years I look back now and see all the time that has passed me by.  As

I recall, my life's work was to be a Pastor, just like my Uncle Arthur, other clergy in farther

generations back,  though it was not meant to be- or so I thought!

     Without going into drudges and boring details, my life's journey took other paths that

down right justify the need of a Savior from sin, "my sin" and the being "born-again" experience

 of GOD Almighty, our Lord as true as I type these words.  I remember many times that Jesus

wasn't as real to me as I had seen in other's lives... yet going through the motions, or rights

of passage that gives our life those milestones that makeup a person's "life".

I mentioned "my sin"; you might think, this guy is a pastor and he "sins"?  "For all have sinned

and fall short of the glory of GOD".  Yes, even pastors sin, maybe not purposely, but we sin

just the same.  If you haven't figured it out; I am an Ordained Minister..." my long ago dream now

realized".

 It is with a deep joy in my soul, thankfulness and kneeling before my GOD, very humbled to

be among the ranks of the many clergy in this country and the entire world.  To be "Called"

into the Ministry, the work of the Church, and the shepherding of souls are almost over-

whelming in my heart and soul; though through the help of my Lord Jesus Christ, I solemnly

endeavor to do as the Lord has "called" me to do, by his Grace and Mercy His Will be done. Amen
